The OG for self help books。 You cannot beat the classics。 The principles of this book still stand today。

definitely a book that will stick! appreciated the wholesome insights and wisdom。 lia gave this to me as a bday gift and it's a perfect reminder to live every day to the fullest 💗an easy book to finish! if there's anything i'd want to change, it'd be the format。 each topic is divided into tiny two-three page chapters that can feel a bit like a brain dump。 some chapters were also a bit repetitive so i would have appreciated longer but more unique chapters to keep it packed well。 definitely a book that will stick! appreciated the wholesome insights and wisdom。 lia gave this to me as a bday gift and it's a perfect reminder to live every day to the fullest 💗an easy book to finish! if there's anything i'd want to change, it'd be the format。 each topic is divided into tiny two-three page chapters that can feel a bit like a brain dump。 some chapters were also a bit repetitive so i would have appreciated longer but more unique chapters to keep it packed well。 。。。more

One of the best self help books I’ve read。 Easy to pick up as chapters are short and concise。 A good read for down spells。

Loved the book! Deep yet to the point。I liked the sense of humour and the simplicity in presenting the ideas。 Although some points were repeated in different occasions yet I enjoyed the book and will definitely read it again。

Overall, this was a good book and gave good snippets of advice。 For me, however, it wasn't anything mind blowing or new。 I can see how this could change people's lives if they had not considered these before and really absorb this book。 Then good for them! Good book overall with helpful advice and techniques that can be applied to my daily life。 Felt that some parts of the book was repetitive。 Definitely a book I’m going to keep and look back on when I just need a reminder to not sweat the small stuff!

DNF。 This was just too ‘90s for me。 It’s March 2022, everything is big stuff, nothing is “small stuff,” and when you or your loved ones could die from a global pandemic or get nuked in WW3, yeah—you’re gonna sweat it。 Oh, to be back in the good ole pre-9/11 ‘90s in the USA, when you could say with a straight face, as this author puts it, “Life isn’t an emergency。” I’m sorry, but this is 2022。 The planet is dying along with democracy in America。 It is very much an emergency。

Such an inspirational book。 I didn’t expect to be taking notes as I read more into this book and I’m so glad I did。 I plan to use these note to help better my life and to not “sweat the small stuff!” There is something in this book for everyone。 I especially enjoyed how certain parts would circle back around and include a parts the author mentioned it earlier on in the book。 It is very informative and I feel like I have learned so much。 I feel anyone with stresses, anxiety, or who over thinks sh Such an inspirational book。 I didn’t expect to be taking notes as I read more into this book and I’m so glad I did。 I plan to use these note to help better my life and to not “sweat the small stuff!” There is something in this book for everyone。 I especially enjoyed how certain parts would circle back around and include a parts the author mentioned it earlier on in the book。 It is very informative and I feel like I have learned so much。 I feel anyone with stresses, anxiety, or who over thinks should read this book。 。。。more

I've read more self help books then is helpful to anyone but the authors' bank accounts, but I do like to see what people feel is needed by the "average Joe" to become a "better person"。I rather liked this one though。 Mr Author-man writes short snippets of 100 little things you can do to decrease the stress and strains in your life and on your psyche。Is it utterly deep, mysterious and WHAM BAM CHANGE YOUR LIFE MAN?!No, no not really, but it makes you think, it adds a bit of value to your life an I've read more self help books then is helpful to anyone but the authors' bank accounts, but I do like to see what people feel is needed by the "average Joe" to become a "better person"。I rather liked this one though。 Mr Author-man writes short snippets of 100 little things you can do to decrease the stress and strains in your life and on your psyche。Is it utterly deep, mysterious and WHAM BAM CHANGE YOUR LIFE MAN?!No, no not really, but it makes you think, it adds a bit of value to your life and each chapter is small enough that boredom is not an option! This is a great book to keep yourself in check should you occasionally be the victim of an overactive mind。 Consider this book if you're the type of person who can relate to anxiety and stress in over-thinking things and allowing small things to turn into big issues。 Letting go of being a perfectionist, preventing snowball thinking and learning to live in the present moment are just a few of the chapters。 The book is full of short, relatable chapters with many hints to respond vs react。 Success This is a great book to keep yourself in check should you occasionally be the victim of an overactive mind。 Consider this book if you're the type of person who can relate to anxiety and stress in over-thinking things and allowing small things to turn into big issues。 Letting go of being a perfectionist, preventing snowball thinking and learning to live in the present moment are just a few of the chapters。 The book is full of short, relatable chapters with many hints to respond vs react。 Success and happiness start with what happens between your temples。 What you think has a major influence on what actually occurs。 It's also a great book to highlight great points and re-read them for further development and growth。 I highly recommended it! 。。。more

I go back to this old book from time to time for reminders and lessons。 I thought it would be a cheesy self-help book when I started it (I love self-help books btw), but I found it to hold useful, actionable tips and advice。 When I start to get really overwhelmed with。。。 whatever, I still turn to this book now and then for the reminders about priorities and what really matters。

I seldom read self-help books but I picked this one because it offers solutions to a problem which I have always wanted to get rid of - I get stressed easily over small stuff - and importantly, it is pretty short (less than 200 pages, doubt I would read a self-help book that is over 200 pages long lol)。 The author comes up with 100 pieces of advice for making peace with stressors in life, each piece of advice is only one-page long, so it's very easy to read。 Gets a bit repetitive towards the end I seldom read self-help books but I picked this one because it offers solutions to a problem which I have always wanted to get rid of - I get stressed easily over small stuff - and importantly, it is pretty short (less than 200 pages, doubt I would read a self-help book that is over 200 pages long lol)。 The author comes up with 100 pieces of advice for making peace with stressors in life, each piece of advice is only one-page long, so it's very easy to read。 Gets a bit repetitive towards the end, but overall it's a soothing read。I was randomly going through reviews of this book when I learnt that the author suffered a sudden death on a book promotion tour。 Life is indeed too short to be anything but happy, why not just let the small stuff go? 。。。more

Words of wisdom to help you sail through life。 A book that should be left somewhere handy when you have a few minutes to read。 You only need time to read two short pages of advice to put into practice。

Charlotte Redhead

This book made some really good points and with the chapters being short it made it easier to read and understand whilst making the point straight forward。 However, towards the end of the book it does start to become a bit repetitive。
